Arran Holidays - About Us
Arran Holidays was founded in 2008. Having moved to the Isle of Arran in 2007, (my
wife wanting to return to the place where she spent her childhood and wanting the
best for our children) and noticing potential in the Holiday Rental market, and
having a vast knowledge of property matters, Arran Holidays was founded.
The main thing is that we provide gorgeous holiday accommodation and we're very
easy to talk to. We'll always be happiest when our guests have their best ever holiday
on our island. We are resident here on the Isle of Arran, so we know what we are
talking about. We want to use that knowledge to help you enjoy your time here.

John was educated in the City of London and graduated with a HND in Mechanical Engineering.
John went on to achieve a Post Graduate Diploma in Property Development and Management,
and trained with a leading firm of Chartered Surveyors in London before establishing
his own businesses.
Furthermore, since 1986 John has also founded and managed a number of successful
residential and commercial property development and investment companies.
John founded Casas Bonitas UK Ltd in 2000, a venture specialising in the sale of
Overseas Properties through a network of UK and Overseas Estate Agents. John is
also a partner in Quinta Do Pateiro Holdings, a Portuguese based company who presently
own a development of 210 Hectares in the Algarve, Portugal. A development of quality
Villas and a Hotel / Golf Resort.
John now is also a consultant for some of the leading Property Investment Companies
based in London and specialises in the acquisition and asset management of private
property portfolios in the UK and Overseas.
John enjoys the peaceful lifestyle Arran offers, although he needs the excitement
of London business every now and then!
