Had a two night stay here mid April. Beautiful location and spotlessly clean.
It sleeps four so good for families with a bedroom upstairs (can be two singles or double) and sofabed downstairs but Id say two couples may want some additional privacy as whilst the bedroom is up in the eaves (and very spacious with plenty of storage space) there isn’t a door separating it from the rest of the house.
The kitchen (which is part of one room with small dining table and sofa (and TV)is exceptionally well equipped. They seem to have thought of everything and it is of good quality too. There is also a good size wet room shower suitable for wheelchair users. Outside there is a small terrace and patio. The cottage is located by a burn and fishing nets are also provided like I said thought of everything!.The owners daughter was so lovely and kind, making sure we had everything we needed, little touches such as fresh flowers made a difference. A lovely place I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we will be returning very soon!
